Kids Bring Color to WyHy This Youth Month

This year, we partnered with local students to add a creative twist to something you might not expect: teller envelopes.
Throughout April, kids in our communities were invited to decorate envelopes with their own artwork—everything from bright patterns and doodles to drawings of what they’re saving for. The result? Hundreds of one-of-a-kind designs that will be shared with members across our branches.

The idea is simple: make money conversations more approachable, more visible, and a lot more fun.
But for us, it’s about more than decorated envelopes.
It’s about creating moments that spark curiosity.
It’s about helping kids connect creativity with real-life money goals.
And it’s about showing that learning about finances doesn’t have to be boring or complicated.
Some kids drew what they’re saving for. Others shared colorful designs or messages about spending and saving. Every envelope tells a story, and every story is a step toward building confidence with money.
You might see one the next time you stop by.
And if you do, take a moment to appreciate the creativity, and the future financial rockstars behind it.
Because at WyHy, we believe financial education starts early, and sometimes, it starts with something as simple as a drawing.
