Making a Difference in 2025

At WyHy, community impact is not a side project. It is part of our everyday work. In 2025, our team showed up across Wyoming with time, dollars, heart, and a whole lot of follow-through.

From food security to financial education to supporting local families and organizations, this year was a reminder that when people come together, real impact happens.

Fighting Hunger, One Shred Day at a Time

In 2025, our Shred Day events did more than help members safely dispose of sensitive documents. They helped fight hunger across Wyoming.

Through Shred Days alone, we donated over $6,000 to the Food Bank of Wyoming, supporting families and individuals facing food insecurity statewide. It is proof that small actions, multiplied across communities, can make a big difference.

Supporting What Matters Locally

Giving back close to home is where our impact really shines. In 2025, we contributed over $35,000 to more than 45 worthy causes across Wyoming.

These donations supported local schools, community organizations, nonprofit partners, and programs focused on education, health, hunger relief, youth activities, and quality of life. By investing in a wide range of causes, we were able to support both immediate needs and long-term community growth throughout the state.

Because when you support the places people call home, everyone wins.

Helping Kids Learn, Give, and Shine

Financial education starts early, and we are proud to support opportunities that help kids build confidence, generosity, and real-world money skills.

Our efforts focused on teaching young people not just how to save and spend, but how to give back and shine in their communities. Because learning to care about others is just as important as learning to balance a budget.

National Recognition, Local Impact

In 2025, our work earned national recognition, including being named Forbes #1 Credit Union in Wyoming, and the real reward was the local impact felt right here in Wyoming.

Being recognized on a national level reinforces what we already know. Community-focused work matters. And when it is done with intention, it creates ripple effects far beyond a single event or donation.

Route Sponsor of the Year: Meals on Wheels

We are incredibly proud to be named Meals on Wheels of Cheyenne’s Route Sponsor of the Year.

For 20 years, our employees have volunteered their time delivering meals, checking in on neighbors, and helping ensure older adults feel supported and connected. Whether it is sunshine, snow, or classic Wyoming wind, our team shows up because caring for our community is part of who we are.

Supporting Families Through Adopt-a-Family

Through our Adopt-a-Family program, we continued our commitment to supporting local families and elderly individuals during times when help matters most.

These efforts are made possible through employee donations, Clothing for a Cause contributions, and matching support. Together, we help provide essentials, gifts, and a little extra peace of mind for neighbors who need it.

Looking Ahead

Every dollar donated, every hour volunteered, and every partnership built in 2025 reflects the same belief. Strong communities are built when people take care of each other.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to showing up, giving back, and finding new ways to support the people and places that make Wyoming home.

Because impact is not just something we talk about. It is something we do.

We’re WyHy. We’re Wyoming. We’re with you.
