Together, We Made a Difference: Our Biggest Shred Day Success Yet

This year’s Shred Day was our most successful one to date, thanks to the generosity of our members who turned out not just with boxes of paper, but with open hearts. Throughout the event, members donated a total of $2,000 to support the Food Bank of Wyoming. And because we believe in matching the power of community with action, WyHy matched every dollar, bringing the final donation to $4,000.
What $4,000 Really Means
A number like that sounds great on paper, but the impact behind it is what truly matters. The Food Bank of Wyoming is able to turn that $4,000 into roughly 12,000 meals. That’s 12,000 moments where a child, a senior, a parent, or a neighbor doesn’t have to worry about where their next meal will come from.
12,000 meals means full plates, less stress, and more stability, especially during a time of year when food insecurity often spikes.
Why This Matters
Every year, Shred Day brings people together for a purpose: to safely destroy documents, protect privacy, and support a community cause. But this year, you took that purpose to a new level.
Your donations reminded us what “People Helping People” really looks like: neighbors giving what they can, businesses stepping up to match the effort, and a community making sure no one is left behind.
From All of Us- Thank You!
To every member who donated: thank you. Whether you contributed a handful of dollars or filled the donation jar, your kindness multiplied into real change. You didn’t just give money, you gave meals, relief, and hope.
We’re proud to stand beside members who care this deeply. And we’re not stopping here. Together, we’ll keep finding ways to make an impact across Wyoming!
