WyHy is proud to announce that our own Brittney Wagner-Tapia, AMP, has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Willis Bryant Award from MBA Education. This is one of the highest honors in the mortgage industry.
The award is presented annually to a top graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking who not only earns outstanding grades across all three levels of coursework but also demonstrates exceptional leadership, integrity, and commitment to advancing the mortgage profession. Only one person in the nation receives this honor each year, and this year, it’s someone from right here in Wyoming.
From “Just Starting” to Serving 41 States
When Brittney joined WyHy in 2018, our mortgage program was still in its early stages. Today, under her leadership, we offer a full secondary-market lending platform and serve members in 41 states. That growth didn’t happen by accident. It happened through expertise, innovation, and a deep belief in doing what’s best for the member, not the margins.
Brittney has led the charge in building a mortgage program that reflects WyHy’s core philosophy: People Helping People. From first-time homebuyers to families refinancing for stability, she has helped create a lending experience rooted in clarity, care, and long-term financial well-being.
