Welcome Green River Basin

We want to make you aware of events that will transpire next Thursday, March 31st, and Friday, April 1st.  As you might recall, on October 1, 2021, the members of Green River Basin FCU in Green River Wyoming were merged into the membership of WyHy.  We’re excited to welcome these members, but they have not had full access to all of the WyHy benefits since they were still on their prior computer system.  We’re pleased to announce that this Thursday and Friday the core computer system of Green River Basin will be combined with WyHy’s core system.

So, what does that mean to you?

The Green River, WY branch can now provide the full array of products and services of WyHy.

  • All WyHy services will be available for members living or traveling in the southwestern part of the state.
    • The branch is located at 131 E. Railroad St. Green River, WY 82935
  • There are benefits of growth. Even though WyHy is already one of the most efficient credit unions, growth can promote efficiency. We strive for efficiency that provides cost saving benefits for our members – while ever striving for better service delivery.

In order to orchestrate this data merger, all WyHy branches will close at 2:00 PM MDT on Thursday, March 31st.  The branches will reopen as soon as possible on Friday, April 1st.  We will post the most recent updates and information at www.wyhy.org.  Please refer to the information available there. During this downtime, ATM transactions, Debit and Credit cards will be available.  Home Banking will be down. Our Contact Center (800- 442-2392) will be open during regular service hours, 8:00 AM MDT to 5:00 PM MDT (5:30 on Friday.)  Please realize that while our systems are down, we will not be able to do transactions or furnish balances, etc.

We appreciate your patience as we expand our service delivery.   Please feel free to refer to the Questions and Answers that are available on the website for more information.

Thanks for your membership!
