Are You Shreddy?

Are you ready for some spring cleaning? WyHy's Shred Days are here to help! Shred Days will be happening on April 14th in Casper, Rock Springs, and Green River, and on April 15th in Cheyenne.

While there is no cost to participate in WyHy's upcoming Shred Days, we are encouraging members to make a donation to the Food Bank of Wyoming. The Food Bank of Wyoming team tirelessly uplifts and nourishes communities across the state, and WyHy is honored to help support their mission, which is why WyHy will be matching every donation to the Food Bank of Wyoming, dollar for dollar.

WyHy puts on Shred Days twice a year so that your personal information does not end up in the wrong hands. Wondering what you should shred?

Here are four types of documents that should always be shredded:

Personal documents - This includes any documents that contain your name, address, phone number, date of birth, Social Security number, or other identifying information. Examples include bank statements, credit card statements, medical bills, and tax documents.

  • Financial documents - This includes any documents related to your finances, such as investment statements, insurance policies, and loan documents.
  • Business documents - If you run a business, it's important to shred any documents related to your business operations, such as invoices, receipts, and customer records.
  • Junk mail - Any unsolicited mail that contains your personal information, such as pre-approved credit card offers, should be shredded to prevent identity theft.

Take advantage of WyHy's Document Destruction Days and bring up to 2 boxes of any of your personal documents to be shredded.

We're with you!
