Heartland reported that no merchant information, cardholder Social Security numbers, unencrypted personal identification numbers (PIN), addresses or telephone numbers were involved in the breach; however they did report that cardholder names and numbers were exposed. If you have been contacted by your bank or credit union that your information was breached or you just want to take your own precautions by securely destroying your card(s) you are welcome to take your card(s) to WyHy Federal Credit Union and place them in the A Thru Z Document Destruction's secure cabinet to be picked up and destroyed.
