Questions and Answers
Q. Why did my interest rate change?- All questions regarding rate increases or the pricing of your account should be directed to FIA Card Services.
- One change, as I understand it, APRs are now variable rates. As such, your rate would be adjusted in the future as the prime rate changes. FIA Card Services will now use variable pricing as their standard for FIA Card Services credit card accounts.
- FIA Card Services and other issuers are rebalancing their portfolios in response to market conditions, new federal laws and regulations, and the increasing costs of providing unsecured credit.
- This change will continue to enable FIA Card Services to extend credit to as many consumers as possible in the future. If you have questions about any changes to your card, we have a team of specialists who can answer them. Simply call Customer Service using the number on the back of your card.
